The second half of the third grade year, the books are easier than in the beginning. My kids don’t really read ANY of the history books on their own until this point in the year.  The highlighted list below shows you the reading level for all of the history 3rd grade books.  Note that the ones I am talking about, which come later in the year, are actually the easiest on the list.
