Mommy It’s a Renoir is a Montessori art curriculum that Mother of Divine Grace CLASSICAL school uses in their syllabi (k-4). The first step is matching. (Shown below) The following steps include matching styles of certain artists (shown above), learning their names, and identifying what school of art you’re looking at.
Each book is a set of cards and the syllabus tells you how to use them. Children quickly accomplish the aims of the MIR instruction book (sold separately) and MODG has us use the cards for other exercises. The kids love this work and have learned a great deal about the artists.
